Advice? We don't need any, thanks

Most small businesses don't ask for advice because they don't think they need it, according to a leading psychologist.
Dr Peter Collett, commenting on a survey commissioned by Business Link, said entrepreneurs were less likely to seek advice due to their psychological make-up. Dr Collett said that entrepreneurs were often 'hesitant' about asking for help, particularly if they thought they knew the answer. He added: 'What makes them so effective up to now often prevents them from being more successful in the future.'
