Stressful - but well worth it
Owners of small businesses are suffering more stress - but they still wouldn't work for anyone else, according to a survey. The research, carried out by the FSB and Abbey National Business Banking, reveals that running a business is more stressful than it was five years ago - mainly because of additional red tape, late payment and recruiting the right staff - but the attractions of being your own boss are enough to prevent business owners from going back to the world of the monthly pay cheque.
