Economic affairs discussion

The FSB is linking up with the Institute of Economic Affairs for a discussion to launch the new issue of the latter's journal. The June issue of Economic Affairs has the theme Regulation and the Small Firm, and there is an invitation-only event to debate the issues on Wednesday 4 July at 2 Lord North Street in Westminster.

Among the articles featured in the journal are: The Operating Costs of Taxation - A Review of the Research by Chris Evans; A Small Business Perspective on Regulation in the UK by Ian Fletcher; Federal Regulation and the American Economy by Thomas A Gray; and Reforming Value Added Tax by Graham Bannock. The discussion will be chaired by Graham Bannock, the chairman of Bannock Consulting, and will be attended by senior officers from the FSB.
