National Business Day is a success

The FSB was among a host of business and trade associations attending the first National Business Day. Taking place at the Merchant Taylor's Hall in London in December, the event provided a forum for representative organisation to debate the impact of excessive regulation.

Speakers included: Maurice Fitzpatrick, Head of Economics at Chantrey Vellacott DFK; Christopher Booker, journalist and author of The Mad Officials - How The Bureaucrats Are Strangling Britain; Brian Prime, President of the European Small Business Alliance (ESBA); and Ian Handford, the National Chairman of the FSB. Following the successful event, participants are currently drafting a 10-point plan of action to be handed to the Government.
