Self-employed have rights too, you know

The FSB has put together its own White Paper, urging the Government to clarify the status of the self-employed. 'The Rights to be Self Employed' has been published in response to successive attempts to push the self-employed into 'employed' status - most recently the controversial IR35 legislation requiring many contractors to become employees. The FSB argues that a new Act of Parliament - a Registration of Contracts for Services Act - should mirror the Contracts of Employments Act.
